The smaller cubes are made by the same process as a normal paperweight and then pushed into a square mould to form the cube.The sharpness of the edges is acheived by grinding and polishing the sides when they are annealed the next day. These are regarded as paperweights as the making method is the same as for weights but we tend to regard the sandcasting as artglass. (Allan Scott - Caithness Glass)
