Commissioned by S.S. Politician plc. 1991

Issued to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the sinking of the cargo ship S.S. Politician in 1941 in a storm. Each weight contains a drop of whisky from the last 15 of 24 intact bottles of whisky retrieved by the company in 1990 - an unfortunate result for the salvage company!
