This type of printed label used on Monart Glassware c.1929 it was never registered as a trademark although the word MONART was registered as a trademark in 1929. This example is post 1947 with no colour code, apart from which it is the same as G1. This label appeared in the book Ysart Glass in 1990 as Plate 4. The designation G1 was first used on Ysartglass.com for ease of reference. ©2008 F Andrews |
