Tumbler / Beaker, transfer acid-etched decoration on one side, wheel engraved personalisation on the other. Engraving comprises two scenes, The Forth Bridge and steam boat (Ferry?) and a large building (?). A ribbon bears the inscription Ëdinburgh International Exhibition" also thistles and the date 1890. Amusingly, the end of the ribbon contains "Made in France" The reverse side was presumably personalised at the exhibition with a freehand wheel engraved name "Peggie" 100mm (4") high, polished flat base.
