1924 Monart Ware - W1

John Moncrieff Ltd. label used for the "Monart" brand of Art Glass.

This was the first type of printed label used on Monart Glassware c.1924 it was never registered as a trademark although the word MONART was registered as a trademark in 1929. The 'Ware' labels were replaced by 'Glass' labels about 1929.

This label appeared in the book Ysart Glass in 1990 as Plate 1

The designation W1 was first used on Ysartglass.com for ease of reference.
