Blue and White Treasures series Blue and white ceramics have aroused interest and affection for the past 200 years. The traditional English blue and white wares originated in the late 1700s after the East India Company began to reduce their imports of chinaware in 1773. Intricate floral borders and the willow pattern are just two of the inspirations behind this range by Helen MacDonald. Piatto Azzuro - Inspired by the blue plate, 'Piatto Azzuro' literally means 'blue plate' in Italian. A magnum sized paperweight depicting the diversity of the blue and white pattern.
